Lecture-performance with Käthe Kollwitz.

The Guerilla Girls, founded more than thirty years ago in New York, are today among the icons of feminist activism in the international art world. Like Miriam Cahn, they expose sexism, racism and corruption in politics, pop culture and the visual arts in the form of billboards, posters, books and public appearances. They act anonymously, wearing gorilla masks, and use pseudonyms referring to deceased artists. Käthe Kollwitz, one of the founders, will give a lecture-performance at the Haus der Kunst as part of the exhibition Miriam Cahn. I as Human.
