Following the exhibition Il Mondo Botanico for Various Others 2018, Galerie Klüser is now dedicating a comprehensive show to the animal world and, in cooperation with the New York gallery Sperone Westwater, presenting an ensemble of very diverse artistic perspectives on real as well as mythical fauna.

Both galleries are linked by their early collaboration with representatives of the European transavantgarde and their more than 40 years of commitment to contemporary art.

While drawn, painted and sculpted animal portraits and portrayals can be explored in Galerie Klüser 1, Galerie Klüser 2 is showing photographic approaches to this motif. With William Wegman’s Weimeraner portraits, Sperone Westwater and Galerie Klüser are presenting the artist’s work for the first time in Munich.
