Galerie Christine Mayer was founded in 2001 and represents the artists André Butzer, Antoine Catala, Dan Graham, Andy Hope 1930, Franka Kaßner, Trevor Shimizu and Heimo Zobernig, among others.

On the occasion of Various Others 2019, Galerie Christine Mayer has invited Goldie’s Gallery from New York, an artist-run space named after artist Trevor Shimizu’s daughter Goldie. Since the first exhibition in 2016, Goldie’s Gallery has been presenting exhibitions in the apartment of Trevor Shimizu, who also curated the current exhibition “Goldie’s Gallery” in Munich, the first group show to take place outside the apartment.
